Preparing these Overnight Oats takes only 5 minutes. Then, they must chill in the refrigerator for at least 8 hours. To make this recipe, the ingredients that you will need are 1 cup of rolled oats, 1 tablespoon of chia seeds, 1 ¼ cup of almond milk, 1 tablespoon of honey, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, and some fresh berries of your choice. The fresh berries that I typically use are either blueberries or raspberries. Blackberries and strawberries are also excellent choices! Or, if you would like to opt-out of using any berries at all, then you may certainly do so. It is entirely up to you. You are the cook here!

To make this Overnight Oat recipe, first, in a small bowl, stir together the rolled oats, chia seeds, milk, honey, cinnamon, and fresh berries. Pour the mixture into a mason jar or container and seal it with a lid. Refrigerate the oats overnight (or, for at least 8 hours). Finally, remove the Overnight Oats from the refrigerator and enjoy them to the fullest!

Now, this recipe has a lot of room for creativity. So, if you want to incorporate additional ingredients, you can do that as well. Some additional ingredients can be dried fruit, nuts, flaxseed, or vanilla extract. If you choose to add nuts, just be sure to finely chop the nuts! They should be similar in size to the berries.

I find that this recipe already has enough ingredients for me. However, it is always fun to play around with recipes and create your own version! Add whatever other ingredients that you wish! That way, you can call it your very own recipe and creation. When you take a bite of these oats, you get a little bit of everything with each spoonful. Every bite that you take of these Overnight Oats will be slightly sweet with a wonderful texture. Hopefully, you enjoy this recipe and make it your new go-to breakfast or snack on the go! Happy Mixing and Eating!
