Eggnog is quite perfect to drink at the start of the new year. It is a drink used to toast to good health and prosperity. Make this hot homemade Eggnog Latte to toast the prosperous year ahead. Let’s get started on making this recipe.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups 2 milk, any kind

  • 1 1/2 cups 1 1/2 eggnog

  • 4 shots 4 espresso

  • 1 teaspoon 1 ground nutmeg

  • 1 teaspoon 1 pure vanilla extract

  • whipped cream and additional nutmeg, to top

Directions

  • In a medium saucepan over medium heat, heat milk and eggnog for 3 to 6 minutes.
  • Add espresso, nutmeg and vanilla extract. Stir.
  • Pour mixture into your desired mugs and top with whipped cream. Enjoy!

This Eggnog Latte recipe makes enough to serve two people. If you are planning to serve more people, then feel free to adjust the measurements to make them work for you. The ingredients that you will need to make this recipe are 2 cups of milk, 1 ½ cups of eggnog, 4 shots of espresso, 1 teaspoon of ground nutmeg, 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract, some whipped cream, and additional nutmeg to finish it off. If you are feeling extra fancy, then make your whipped cream homemade as well. All you need to make your own whipped cream is some heavy whipping cream, sugar, vanilla extract, and an electric mixer. That’s it!

Ok, now back to the Eggnog Latte recipe. Only 5 minutes of prep and 5 minutes of cooking time are needed to make this yummy Eggnog Latte. To get started on making it, first, In a medium saucepan over medium heat, heat the milk and eggnog for 3 to 6 minutes, or until warm enough to your liking. Next, stir in the espresso, nutmeg, and pure vanilla extract until well combined. Finally, pour the mixture into your desired mugs and top with whipped cream.
