This recipe makes enough to serve two people or one really hungry person. Half a pound of ribeye is equivalent to one full serving. The ingredients that you will need to make this are 1 ribeye steak (about 1 pound), 1 red bell pepper (seeded and sliced), 1 tablespoon of extra-virgin olive oil (plus more for cooking, ¼ cup of dry red wine, 3 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce, 2 tablespoons of reduced-sodium soy sauce, 1 teaspoon of brown sugar, 1 tablespoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of black pepper, and, ¼ teaspoon of salt.
To get started on making this, first, pierce the steak with a fork and set it aside while you work on the marinade. Next, in a large bowl, mix the extra-virgin olive oil, red wine, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, pepper, and salt. Place the steak and sliced red bell pepper in a large Ziploc bag or a container with a lid. Pour the marinade onto the steak and rub it in. Place in the refrigerator to marinate for 8 to 24 hours.
