This recipe makes enough to serve two people or one really hungry person. Half a pound of ribeye is equivalent to one full serving. The ingredients that you will need to make this are 1 ribeye steak (about 1 pound), 1 red bell pepper (seeded and sliced), 1 tablespoon of extra-virgin olive oil (plus more for cooking, ¼ cup of dry red wine, 3 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce, 2 tablespoons of reduced-sodium soy sauce, 1 teaspoon of brown sugar, 1 tablespoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of black pepper, and, ¼ teaspoon of salt.

To get started on making this, first, pierce the steak with a fork and set it aside while you work on the marinade. Next, in a large bowl, mix the extra-virgin olive oil, red wine, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, pepper, and salt. Place the steak and sliced red bell pepper in a large Ziploc bag or a container with a lid. Pour the marinade onto the steak and rub it in. Place in the refrigerator to marinate for 8 to 24 hours. When you are ready to cook it, sear it over medium-high heat for 5-6 minutes per side. This will make a medium-rare steak. And, finally, serve the Marinated Ribeye with your favorite sides and Enjoy!

Certainly, you will be able to taste every ingredient used. This means that you will be able to taste the red wine. If you prefer to cook without wine, then that is perfectly fine to do so. Feel free to omit that from the recipe. Continue along with the rest of the ingredients as listed. Please note that this recipe also works well with other cuts of steak such as Sirloin, New York Strip, Filet Mignon. Just be sure to adhere to the listed poundage.
