Juicy and tender chicken breast chunks are pan-seared and then glazed with a sweet ginger soy sauce. This Sweet Ginger Soy Chicken recipe is so good, that you should drop what you’re doing, cancel any plans and get to cooking! Now, let’s get started!
This dish all comes together with a homemade sauce and pan-seared chicken. Homemade is best! A lot of jarred sauces have way too many preservatives. Many of them are not needed. I always find that it is best to make my own sauces which is why I love this Sweet Ginger Soy Sauce so much!
This recipe happily serves 2 to 3 people. Preparation time is just about 10 minutes and Cooking time is 10 minutes as well. The ingredients that you will need to make this dish are 2 large boneless and skinless chicken breasts, 1 tablespoon of sesame oil, 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil, ¼ cup of reduced-sodium soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of freshly grated ginger, 2 teaspoons of honey, 2 teaspoons of garlic powder, salt and pepper, to taste. Green onion is also listed as an optional garnish. It is not required. However, it does help to spruce up the dish and it adds a beautiful, earthy, and fresh-tasting element to the final product.

Now, this recipe does list 2 different types of oils. I love this blend because it gives the chicken a nice sear while staying true to the taste of Asian cuisine with sesame oil. You can use whatever oil you want. If olive oil or avocado oil are the oils that you prefer, then absolutely use that! As long as your chicken is seared to be a nice golden brown color and fully cooked, it will be great!

Cooking this dish is simple! To get started on making this dish, first, Slice the chicken breasts into equal-sized cubes. Season them with salt and pepper, to taste. Set them aside. Next, in a medium-sized bowl, mix together soy sauce, grated ginger, honey, garlic powder, and pepper. Set that aside. Then, in a large skillet, over medium-high, heat both oils and sear chicken chunks for about 5 minutes. Flip the chicken chunks and sear them for about 4 to 5 more minutes until they are golden brown, or until they are cooked all the way through. Reduce the heat to medium-low. Add the soy sauce mixture and toss it around to coat the chicken evenly. Cook the chicken for 3 to 4 more minutes so that the sauce can adhere to each piece. Garnish the dish with green onion. Serve with rice or your favorite sides and enjoy!

It really is that simple, folks! Not much goes into making it taste delicious. Flavor and Love are what matter the most when it comes to cooking this dish. Enjoy every single bite that you take and of course, the wonderful smelling aroma that it fills your house with!
