Fudge Brownies

What’s your favorite chocolate dessert? I’m rather curious to know! Want to know what mine is? Well, that’s a hard one to answer since I have way too many favorite chocolate desserts to decide on just one! It would be too unfair to all of the other yummy chocolate creations! However, brownies are most certainly at the top of the list. Who doesn’t love brownies? Especially these fudge brownies! These brownies satisfy my sweet tooth to the fullest and any chocolate cravings that I may have. You ought to try them!

Ingredients

  • 1 stick 1 unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 1/3 cups 1 1/3 granulated sugar

  • 1 cup 1 unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon 1/2 salt

  • 2 large 2 eggs

  • 1 teaspoon 1 vanilla extract

  • 1 cup 1 all-purpose flour

  • Optional: ½ cup chocolate chips

  • 1/3 cup 1/3 chopped walnuts

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 325°F. Spray a baking pan with baking spray or line with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, combine butter, sugar, cocoa powder, and salt. Allow the mixture to rest for 2 minutes before adding the eggs.
  • Add the eggs and vanilla extract and mix until well combined.
  • Add the flour and mix well until combined.
  • Add chocolate chips and spread brownie batter out evenly in the baking dish.
  • Sprinkle walnuts on top and press them down so they adhere to the batter.
  • Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted into the center.
  • Remove from the oven and allow to rest for 5 minutes before cutting.
  • Serve and enjoy!
