Easy Garlic Butter Shrimp Scampi

Easy Garlic Butter Shrimp Scampi is what’s on the menu for today! This meal comes together in just about 20 minutes or less. It is so easy to make and is full of flavor. So, let’s get to cooking!

This Easy Garlic Butter Shrimp Scampi recipe makes enough to serve 4 people. The ingredients that you will need to make this are 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter, 1 tablespoon of extra-virgin olive oil, 3 cloves of minced garlic, ¼ cup of dry white wine, 2 pounds of large shrimp that are peeled and deveined, 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice, salt, and pepper, to taste. You can use any kind of salt that you wish. To complete the meal, you have the option of serving this over some cooked pasta. I love to serve mine over angel hair pasta or capellini pasta. Those two kinds of pasta are very similar to each other.

Making this dish requires just three steps. To make this dish, first, in a large skillet, over medium heat, melt the butter and olive oil. Add the garlic and saute it for about 30 seconds. Add the wine, shrimp, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Toss the shrimp around in the mixture. Cook them for 3 to 4 minutes, until they turn pink. Remove them from the heat and serve over your pasta of choice.

When you take your first bite of this meal, your taste buds will be able to enjoy every bit of flavor it has to offer. You will taste the lemon, garlic,  salt,  black pepper, butter,  wine, and of course the shrimp!

Serving shrimp scampi with bread is a requirement in my house. I strongly urge you to serve this dish with some toasty bread, breadsticks, or focaccia! It helps to round out the meal! A side salad would pair wonderfully with this dish as well.

I sure do hope that you enjoy making this meal for your family and friends. Hopefully, it brings some warmth and joy to your table this season and beyond. Happy Cooking and Eating!
