To get started on making this recipe, you will need 2 pounds of green beans that are washed with their ends trimmed, 1 tablespoon of olive oil or grapeseed oil, the juice of 1 small lemon, salt, and black pepper, to taste.

To cook this dish, heat some olive oil in a large skillet, over medium-high heat. Add the green beans, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Sear the green beans for 10 minutes, or until they are tender to your liking. Be sure to toss them occasionally. Remove them from the skillet. And, finally, serve and enjoy them!

Also, if you are feeling fancy, then grate a little bit of lemon zest on top of the finished green beans. It will certainly add much more of a lemon flavor. If you do not want that, then stick to the recipe as is. Even lemon slices on top make for a beautiful presentation!

Regardless of how you choose to present and serve these, they will be delicious for your taste buds! This recipe makes enough to serve four people. However, if you want to serve more, then simply double or triple the ingredient measurements.

You can also use these Pan-Seared Lemon Green Beans for meal prep. They will last in the refrigerator for up to one week.
