Garlic Soy Brussels Sprouts

Let’s spruce up some Brussels Sprouts! Does that sound like a good idea? Well, it will when you taste one! So, how exactly does one spruce up this vegetable you might ask? Well, it’s rather easy! These Garlic Soy Brussels Sprouts are truly pleasing to the palate. With a recipe this good, you might not want plain Brussels Sprouts ever again.

Typically, the Brussels sprouts that I have had, were served the same way. You know, the usual. Dashes of salt, pepper, and garlic powder with a little drizzle of olive oil were used to coat the Brussels Sprouts. Sometimes, even bacon bits were added toward the end of roasting. These Garlic Soy Brussels Sprouts aren’t like that. They are better!

If you have never had Brussels Sprouts, then you must try this recipe first. Not only are Brussels Sprouts tasty, but they are high in nutrients and antioxidants. They may also protect your body against cancer. It’s good to eat food that benefits our body, isn’t it?

Ok, let’s get started on the process of making these. The ingredients that you need to make these Garlic Soy Brussels Sprouts are 2 cups of Brussels sprouts that are sliced in half, 2 tablespoons of reduced-sodium soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, and 2 teaspoons of garlic powder. Only a few ingredients are required, look at that!

Did you notice no salt was used? That’s because soy sauce is already salty enough! Yes, even reduced-sodium soy sauce is salty. So don’t let the name fool you. However, it is better than full-blown soy sauce! Stick to 2 tablespoons of soy sauce per 2 cups of Brussels Sprouts. Anything more would be far too much.

These Garlic Soy Brussels Sprouts can be made in just a few steps. To prepare and roast these, first, preheat your oven to 400°F/200°C. Next, place the sliced Brussels Sprouts in a bowl and toss them around with soy sauce, olive oil, and garlic powder. Spread them on a baking sheet and Bake for 20 minutes. Finally, Serve and Enjoy! Surely, you will notice that a few leaves fell off in the pan and got extra crispy while roasting. These are the most delicious, in my opinion! They are crunchy, crispy and so delicious to eat! No need for rest time. Serve these Garlic Soy Brussels Sprouts HOT!

You can serve these brussels sprouts with any sides or main staples that you like. You can also serve them with a dipping sauce of your choice and eat them with a fork or your hands. Well, that’s about all there is to say about this yummy veggie! Hopefully, you enjoy this recipe to the fullest and can make it with ease!
