Just four ingredients are required to make these Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel Nuggets. That’s all! The ingredients that will need are ¼ cup of granulated sugar, 2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon, 2 cups of hard pretzel nuggets, and 2 tablespoons of melted unsalted butter.

To get started on making these, first, preheat your oven to 350°F/177°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil. Next, in a small bowl, stir together the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. Coat your pretzels with melted butter and toss them in the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Place your pretzels on the lined baking sheet and bake them for 8 to 10 minutes. Then, take them out of the oven and allow them to rest for a few minutes before enjoying. These are HOT so, you would hate to burn your tongue. That’s all there is to it! Just a little coating, baking, and waiting are required.

Do I Have to Use Nuggets?

You do not have to use pretzel nuggets. Any hard pretzels will do. Nuggets are just what I had on hand at the moment. There are so many different choices. Try making this recipe with pretzel minis, pretzel crisps, pretzel sticks, or even pretzel rods that are broken up into pieces. Just be sure to stick to the proper measurements and the recipe will work out well.

This snack can get a bit messy. So, as you indulge in this yummy treat be sure to keep a napkin (preferably wet) nearby to help you clean your hands. However, there is a trick to keeping these snacks a little bit more mess-free. The key to keeping it as mess-free as possible is to tap the tray of cinnamon sugar pretzels against your stove or counter as soon as it comes out of the oven. This will help to shake off any excess cinnamon sugar that might not have stuck to the pretzels during the bake time.

Hopefully, you enjoy making this recipe. Have fun making it by yourself or with family/friends. If you find yourself having sweet and salty cravings similar to mine, then whip out your ingredients and get to work! Simply, Enjoy yourself!
